Writing
BOOKS
Helen has written twelve bestselling embroidery books, six in her "Inspirational" and six in the "Masterclass" series, beginning in 1991, just ten years after she created the True Embroideries Studio. Most have been reprinted in various editions, though some are now out of print. To see an overview of what is available both new and pre-loved, check Helen's Author Page on Amazon here.
Her historical novel, The Saxon Twins, the Needle and the Sword, is available on Kindle. Set in the turbulent days of the 10th century, in eastern England, the world of embroidery meets the violence of everyday life in Anglo Saxon England.
MAGAZINES
Helen is a regular contributor to Inspirations Magazine, creating some of "the world's most beautiful embroidery", in the words of the magazine itself. Digital patterns are available on her Inspirations Designer's Page and contributions to books at Design Colletive and A Passion for Needlework3
